Two Amazon orders, both sent me the same wrong product?

I ordered, for myself, a book of sheet music - Gloria Estefan. What arrived was a Stone Roses book - not even music, the history of type thing. So I got a refund. I re-ordered from another amazon seller and today her another Stone Roses book arrived, so that's going back on monday too - Any idea what on earth would result in the book picture both sellers had and the details morphing into something totally different? I dare not re-order a third time because I'll get another Stone roses book!

Anybody know what could cause this? I'm guessing the ISBN number is used for the picking process and maybe they both have the same one? Got to be something like that?

Amazon combined ASINs and the one you are seeing links to the item you received.
Its a pain in the rear.

More than once found them combining 3 or 4 different items in the same category together.
Getting the fusion of ASINs reversed can take weeks.

Also a problem where barcode is used for multiple different items or reused by the company leasing them. New product, same barcode, updated amazon page....

Particularly annoying for FBA items it can also happen to FBM. If seller is going on ASIN or other stock control system than item title it can means people getting the wrong item.
