Hi There,

Has anyone received their annual subscription renewal from Trust Pilot and have the costs gone up considerably?

For any package with them it looks like the costs have gone up at least 70%.

Wondering if anyone had similar experience and if they were able to do anything about it.

many thanks

They have always hiked prices for existing customers, but now seem to have no interest in SME type businesses anymore, and are pricing themselves out of that market.

There are far more cost effective solutions for businesses to generate reviews that are fully vetted and Google compliant; e.g. show in Google PPC and search results if you mark them up properly.

There is even a way to migrate some or all of your existing reviews to the new platform, or aggregate the two if not. If you're interested in these type of options, then feel free to get in touch, as its a service we offer.

    its a complete racquet.

I am not a TP membber, but for some reason I have positive feedback on there from my customers. I worry that I will be sort of coerced into joining and managing reviews when i get negative reviews.

I'm going to avoid it as much as possible. my website is a retail site and I get customers off google and bing. I can continue ignoring TP and not paying them - unless it becomes a threat and integrates into the payment processor/browser and starts warning customers that the store has poor TP feedback. I am guessing this would be their next business move and they've embedded themselves into every business.

I don’t trust the reviews on TP. I wrote a review about a cowboy builder and my review was held for moderation. They needed to check I was a real customer.

Which suggests a lot of reviews never get seen.

We had some issue with our customers getting extortionate quotes. I got in touch, they made me a reseller and suddenly started offering better prices to our customers!

Happy to throw it past our account manager and see if we can help?
Hey that would be great if you could. a 74% hike is just not feasible in this current climate. Much appreciated
