From my feeling, I think the supplier is worthy for a trial, all legitimate and normal.

Be brave, and try your first sample order.

When you need to place a big order, I'd recommend you hiring someone to physically check the products, and get a detailed report. If anything is wrong, usually China factories will be OK to rectify.

Never spend more than you can afford to lose. Then all will be well.

Nearly all the UK couriers are now insisting on electronic payment of VAT, DUTY (if levied) and handling charge before they will deliver now - so worst case, 20% VAT, maybe 5% DUTY and then £8-11 handling charge for paying these sums to HMRC on your behalf.
