I have read some very interesting posts in this forum, some on The Dragons Den and The Apprentice.
It would seem that some can talk the talk, but have they experienced the walk, as I have for this seasons production.
I applied for the Apprentice, this year the prize is to have Sir Alan Sugar as your partner in business; obtaining £250K.
This years Apprentice applications represented a record number of applicants. I am proud to say that I was amongst the "top 20%" that represented the North West...reaching the semi-finals of the provisional round; prior to filming.
The experience was the most challenging in my business life...the competition was tough; there was also previous contenders from previous applicants who actually reached the televised rounds.
Imagine the selection process as I experienced, in a room with 9 other hopefuls and then having 30 seconds to explain why you should be the next apprentice...it isn't easy...but with hindsight and experience it will not deter me from applying for next seasons show; should there be one.
