hi there Ive got a bit of a tricky question regarding a mobile phone contract which has been terminated by the network due to default of paymnet. However I have started repaying some of the balance but they company refuses to reconnect my phone and has still charged me for the rest of the contract and also states that even if i did pay the full balacne they might still not reconnect my phone. Is there any way I can resolve this to have my phone reconnected or have the contract voided as i dont think it is fair to be charged for services im not using... thanx

You must have defaulted on more than one occasion or been avoiding paying this one bill and it accruing, for quite some time. Mobile phone companies dont terminate after one missed bill, that's for sure. Which means they have given you previous chances to repay without you responding leaving them no alternative but to cut you off and it will be in the T & C that if you get this far, they can still charge you for the whole contract costs. The fact is that they wont want to reconnect you in case you dont pay again. Which shouldnt be a surprise to you.

Agree with this. You could possibly try offering them a deposit payment to hold on account or request a low usage limit so that you cannot go over a certain amount and manage the cost a bit better. Once they have seen a fairly good payment history they might review things.

i agree with this. if you want to get another contract then make arrangements and be good with your promises so you can rebuild your record with the company
