Can anyone recommend a good strategy game for PC. I have the Sims and Medieval total war and have played them many times but I am in need of a really good strategy game now.

Cheers

Chris

Dont go there mate or you will be playing your game 25/7 and get zero work done, thats good advice from someone who used to play Q2 online 24/7 (well not far off, many times sat at the pc at 4am - "one more game")

Hey guys

Cheers for you posts. I must go and choose one to buy tomorrow now. Aaaggghhhh Lemmings, I was addicted to that years ago, not sure if I'd enjoy it now. I might get age of empire but I think it might be the same as medieval total war? Macmyday seems pretty interesting with C & C so I will have a look tomorrow for the cheapest

Anyway thanks again and if you think of anymore still post em as I am always looking for new games.

Oh BTW what do you recommend for PSP

Cheers

Ah...Be careful with PSP's. I've had nothing but trouble with mine, but they're absolutely awesome. GTA:LCS is very addictive. Have you bought a PSP yet? I'd recommend against it. PM me if you'd like me to share my experiences :D!

Command & Conquer. Red Alert 2 is the best, .

Command & Conquer on the playstation was the best..it's crap on the PC.
I used to have 2 stations linked up to back-to-back T.V's..and when you heard "I'm there!" you KNEW Tanya was about to blow up your command centre  It was truly the best game ever (as well as C&C retaliation)

Nowadays my all time PC fave..has to be Pharoah I just love those games, also the others in the series. I just saw 'children of the nile' the other day...but it's in 3D and it would take some getting used to. Looks great.

Right, PSPs. I got one for christmas and opened it to find a lovely block of dead pixels on the screen which were just constantly white. Now having paid 200 odd quid for it, we drove 20 miles through the snow to Northampton to have it exchanged.

When we got there we were told that, 'dead pixels aren't classed as a fault and therefore we won't be exchanging it, it's against our policy.'

Dad went LOOPY ! After a 2 hour phone call shouting at some poor Sony person, they agreed to exchange it! Talk about bad customer service.

And it's not just me with this problem, half of the PSPs are sold with dead pixels. Some people have full rows or even boxes.

And don't think you're safe if you've not got one, they can die at any time! And having buggered up their screens, Sony have now made programs which fix the pixels by flashing red blue and green for hours and hours...for a rather large fee.

Naff, huh?

Assuming the regulations are the same as for a standard tft screen when it comes to dead pixeld, it depends on where they are, and how many, I cant remember the exact amount, it goes off screen size and max resolution, I'll dig it out if you want.
