Hi, here are some few tips to boost your PC Performance
Tips 1.
Delete temporary files.
Go to, Start, search, Find All Files and Folders.
Type into the Named box: *.tmp
Click the Find Now, button.
Select All by pressing ctrl + A. The computer will find temporary files.
Delete the files. These may have to be deleted one after the other.
Tips 2.
Deactivate automatic startup programs.
Use the msconfig to deactivate automatic startup programs for Windows XP, though I am not sure of what Operating System you are running If you are running Windows 2000 download
MSCONFIG.EXE FROM HERE: copy the MSCONFIG.EXE to C:/winnt/system32 folder : Click start- Run- type: msconfig.exe in the dialog box and hit enter:
Tips 3.
Remove unwanted programs.
Go to, Start, Settings, Control Panel.
Click Add/Remove Programs. Remove/uninstall unwanted programs. If a message similar to Remove Shared File pops up, choose, No To All.
Tips 4.
Defrag your hard disk.
Tips 5.
Upgrade your Memory/Ram.
