Hi

I was wondering if anyone here knows if you can lease a office short term (3 months) with a phone line already installed and pay the phone bills on top of the rental. We are wanting one for two people to do some short term telemarketing and won't need the office after this is finished. I know some will say outsource it but it is really specialised and we would like to train and carry this out ourselves.

Any help much appreciated

storage providers such as Safestore usually have office space for short-term let with phone, power etc that works out quite economical. you should get a bargain now. make sure you negotiate the price down.
Good luck

Hi,

Sounds like you're looking for a serviced office; easy in - easy out, inclusive rents, phones/internet ready to go.

Google "serviced offices", visit some broker websites and search for offices in your area.

Hope this helps.

Serviced offices are pretty much the only way you will get a phone line ready to go. I take it saving the cash and simply converting a spare room/garage is not a suitable way forward? Basically any space with as single phoneline and use voip to create multiple lines on a temporary basis.

What you need for this type of requirement is a business centre or a serviced office. There are over 2,000 of these around the UK and you can find out details easily by consulting one of the number of service office brokers that are around, such as ABCN, Instant Offices or Serviced Office Search.

Neither of these sites will charge you a fee, as the business centre will pay commission to the broker if you take an office.

If you want any more help, feel free to contact me.

as others have said already, you will need a serviced office as this method is the only one that provides the flexbility and short term contracts that you are after. and if the telemarketing were to be a success you could also negotiate a contract extension at short notice

we have a range of 1 and 2 person serviced offices across the country so PM me if you are interested

phone line isnt a problem as long as you dont mind paying for the installation. We supply phone lines with no contract.
Give me a pm if I can help
Best wishes

Try Regus... I know someone mentioned that they're not cheap but they were cheap after I negotiated on the terms.

It cost £199/month for 1 person office including all bills, unlimited internet use, all phone calls (the contract stated only 01 and 02 number were free but they never charged me for other calls!) and use of the office 4 times per week . The contract was a 1 month rolling contract with 1 month's notice period.
