One of our client need shipping quotes integrated, we are custom making an API, while researching royal mail i see that they can accommodate small parcels upto 2 kg but have dimensions below.

Max Length 45cm
Max Width 35cm
Max Depth 16cm
Weight 0 - 2kg

Now the issue is they will be mostly selling their own brand computer keyboards, the weight will be around 1kg of packaging but dimensions will be

75cm length
20cm width
and 5 cm depth only

So can this be accommodated in basic royal mail postage which cost around 2.7 pounds or it needs to be adjusted into around 4 pounds postage group because of length? Kindly share opinions.

Medium Parcels (not exceeding Length 61cm x Width 46cm x Depth 46cm)

Sounds like a courier job. Parcelforce, UPS etc.

Unless the item can be packaged and shipped at an angle within that size limit?
Large box needed, far larger than the item would take and therefore may well be quite a bit more expensive for the client to buy. Plus wasteful of packaging.
