Can anyone recommend a good transport company that can deliver pallets to Amazon FBA in Germany and are familiar with Amazons booking in system?

You could do a lot worse than asking DHL.

Contact one of the Amazon German fulfillment centres (or ask customer support to find this out for you)...they will have a list of couriers/haulage firms that are constantly using their bays. I wanted to know which courier to use for Amazon UK warehouses...the fulfillment centre had a big list.

DHL will be on that Amazon "Approved" list.

DHL and UPS will be there for sure. For a more competitive rate you might want to see if they deal with DPD.

Thanks all,

We contacted them but they do not have a UK to Germany approved pallet company.

DHL are too expensive.

We are currently using DPD but can only send parcel shipments under 30kg.

So therefore, are Amazon saying because there is no approved UK to DE pallet network, then you can't ship anything to them using pallets?

That can't be right, we use Palletline for FBA UK and their prices are good and they don't charge booking in fee's which you will find with all other pallet networks.
