Hi, just looking for some advice on selling surplus stock that I have. My situation is that I am busy retailing my first personally imported consignment of stock but would like to sell a few units of my product wholesale in 1 lot (30 units) as I had to buy a large minimum order. I don't have a clue how to attract wholesale buyers. I sell the product on Ebay. Does anyone know of a good website where I can advertise (preferably for free)? It's quite a niche home & garden product. I don't want to break any rules by making this sound like an advertisement! Just looking for some pointers, thanks.

I'd certainly consider the wholesale categories on Ebay. There is generally no conflict with your retail sales as they're a different type of customer.

Try Alibaba or Amazon.=)

I've tried at Classifiedsforfree.com
and Epage.com

Also, there are free stores online such as miiduu.com, tictail.com, goodsie.com

Hope this helps. All the best for your business!

What is the product?
what is the price per unit?
what are the delivery costs?
where are the products?

appreciate that you may not want to make this public, but if you send me a PM, I might have a buyer.

You can try local markets or car boot sales. If it's a niche product it might sell well direct to the public like that.

Else find some local shops who would have interested customers and see if you can put your stock there on a sale or return basis.
