I am looking for an insurance broker specifically for self drive hire.

I am looking at purchase 3 vans, 2 large and 1 medium.

Your biggest problem is no trading history - Some insurers will not provide a quote unless you have been trading at least 1 year.

For 3 vans, I expect you will be looking at least £6K, but more likely over £10K depending on your specific details.

SDH - I recon next to no chance without history or mega expensive with massive excess - cost of that is going to be painful for sure.

I have a friend that supplies rental companies at Swiss Vans
Ask for Alex Borley
They can sell you a van with the intention of you renting it out
Or sometimes even rent you one to hire out depending on credit history/ bank statements
if it stacks up etc etc you know score


Van Rental Insurance
As a general idea for you
for self drive it will cost you approx £2500 a van per year
and a min of 3 vans
Would use Martin at Exec Insurance
If you struggle to find them drop me a PM
You would need to take out your main motor trade policy with them also and its
usually a bolt on package

Purchase
They can also help with stocking loans on vans which is the normal way to fund a rental
