Scrap Car Business, Any Idea?

Hi Everyone

I am looking to start a Scrap Car business and have two options as under:

1- To buy Scrap Cars and get them baled/pressed (In order to make them in
bundles and sell them off to the recycling companies)

2- I buy Scrap Cars but I avail the service of any Scrap Yard and get the cars baled/pressed then I pick the bundles/baled body to sell off

Now in both options what kind of licenses would I require along with the cost of each license?

In first option I use it at my own premises but in Second option I will only be doing trading to buy the scrap cars from the market and pay to the yard to bale them and then sell to the related companies.

Any suggestions?

I know there's a license about alot of the chemicals & diesel etc being needed to be removed from the car first. So you'd have to have facilities to do that.

That's all i really know.

Dont they recycle before bailing??

You have to remove all the plastics, tyres and electrical systems for seperate recycling AND as mentioned above the oils, fuel and harmfuls all before crushing.

Yes I know and this is if I do at my yard still what licenses would I require to do that? secondly what if I only trade , I mean get this done by any scrap yard and only to pick up the Car bundles and sell them, in both cases what Licences I would be looking for?

waste carriers license and waste brokers licence should cover it the enviroment agency website should help
