Sagepay, Cardstream and others.....

Hi All,

We're looking to intergrate our shopping cart into sagepay, cardstream or some other service as we would like to now take advantage of 3D Secure.

The reason we've waited so long is due to the fact that our own fraud detection was better than the banks, coupled with the fact that some cards can now only be processed online with the 3DSecure.

I would love to hear individual comments on the payment processors above and any others you might recommend.

(I've heard horror stories of sagepays major downtime before xmas which scares me a little)

WOW, just emailed cardstream with a question and got a reply in 2 minutes! Wonder how long it will take Sagepay to reply to the same question?

sagepay are available 24 hours a day i think or atleast till very late at night.

Ive never had to wait in a queue to have the phone answered.

There is also a company called totalwebsolutions on here. Give them a try.

I actually told your phone operator that if the rep stepped through my door again I would not be held responsible for my actions, and I mean't it.

I can't stand theiving, lying, *****

I fully appreciate what you are saying there, I will not try to defend any one as i do not know any of the details.

All i can say is that this is not common practice, We are here for the long run and on avrage a cardsave customer will stay with us for 7 years.

Mdj101, If you would like me to provide you with a quote i would be more than happy to do this for you. I would like to show you that this was a issolated case and that we really do care about our customers.

I thought we were an isolated case! we had been with cardsave for years and years and they stitched us up for cancellation charges as we closed down our shops one by one, I think it was about £180 admin charges per terminal.

They seem to be very similar to PHS wastetech's contract system, I would not trust them as far as I could thrown them!

Best advice I can offer is go through someone like the FSB, IF cardsave is offering such a good service that people could not do with out then they should not have to "lock" people in to any sort of contract.
