Sage Instant Accounting - Deleted Invoice

Hi,

Have deleted a posted invoice by mistake!

It still appears in my Day Books: Customer Invoices (Summary) and at the bottom of the 'Invoicing' screen as the last invoice entered, but it is missing from my Invoice list.

How can I make it reappear on my invoice list?
If I re-enter it and post a new one with the same Invoice number will it replace the original one?

Please help - need to print this one out for a client.

You would need to reenter it with the same invoice number - the problem is that, if you update it then it would be posted to the customer account again although you could delete the invoice from the customer account using Error Corrections.

An alternative, if you have literally just deleted the invoice would be to restore a backup of the data prior to the deletion of the invoice.

Hi John,

Have just re-entered it with the same invoice number and yes it was posted to the customer account again but have deleted it from their account using Error Corrections.

So now the customers account is as it should be and (even better) it is now showing up on my Invoice list so I can print it out!!
