So after years & years the government promised we will never sell royal mail it is finally happening

I think its insane. Further doing it in November is going to guarantee strikes and cripple online businesses. Maybe this is a secret plan to re-vitalise the high streets.

I thought all parties wanted privatisation, only the huge pension blackhole and unions being against it are the big problems. New Labour gave up easily as you would expect from their paymasters, the coalition are not so bothered by that.

A couple of half decent years results and they want rid of this dinosaur, bad management and awful unions refusing to modernise at every turn has left it a very poor service in comparison to private companies.

People need to decide if they want the old service, or modern efficiencies. Strangely enough I think a private RM would pay their workers much better, but their would be a lot less workers.
