Hi, as someone who has found it tough to recruit people.
I would be wary of both routes to be honest.
Recruitment companies:
- tend not to give you great quality
- are very time consuming because constantly contacting you
- cost a fortune (but you can usually get them down from 20% to around 10%)
Posting on Job-sites:
- Results in a huge number of CV's
- Most of which will be not right, but all take at least 5 minutes to read through
- Lot's of people do a 'scatter gun' approach, so the ones you like the look of often won't respond
- Very time consuming, very difficult to get right
I would recommend try and go a bit more niche
- local Tech meetups
- tech forums (more close to what you do the better)
- the power of boolean search on Google/Fbook and Linkedin
