Rankings up and down

Hi everyone

I have a fairly new website (3/4 months old). We have been doing SEO on it since launch, and the rankings have continued to climb over that time, giving us a few first page rankings for a selection of our minor keywords.

However, over the last few days much of those rankings have dropped down to page three. Is this fairly normal for new websites? Should we expect it to re-rank? Could it be a penalty of some sort? And why has it dropped?

Position in SERPs is always changing due to the competition, and I would suggest to check your webmaster tool and google analytics for further analysis.

This may be an instance of law quality backlink.

If your ranking were gone up and down constantly then It is the effect of Google panda dancing update that penalized you continue in the month till its next update. So, May be you penalized from that and for that check your analytic and webmaster tool regularly.

google nowadays doing a strange thing it pushs your rank suddenly on a higher position and after a while it is suddenly dropped.
