does anyone know how much it would cost on average in peterborough to upgrade my ram from 216mb to 1gb i have a fujitsu siemens v2055 and was wondering if someone could help

also is it easy to upgrade the ram yourself if you buy it? if anyone has the same notebook or knows how please explain

personally i wouldnt pay anyone to do it - DIY

it is usually just a case of removing a screw on the base of the laptop and putting the ram chip in. taking ESD measures of course

refer to your manufacturers website and also check how much ram you can put in a slot.

I bought RAM from my laptop from Crucial and installed it myself - their scanning tool recommended the wrong RAM and they exchanged with no hassle whatsoever.
