Hi,
Very quick question.
I know it it hard to say, but what can I expect to pay for a product liability insurance of say 2m pounds cover? The product is a toothbrush, I have no track record etc. At least an approximation of payments that I would need to pay would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. I am writing a business plan for our Uni competition and the deadline is very close, so I might be here with a few more questions like that )

also, I can't find simple explanation, if I employ 1 person, and I pay him 1k per month, how much National Insurance do I need to pay?

THanks

I think (but I could be wrong) that employers NI on £1K per month assuming normal tax code (is it 645L?) would be about £65.00 per month.

You could try for the insurance going to Hiscox for an online quote. I clicked on their link on linkedin recently and did a ball-park quote for business insurance.

I am paying about £1K on a product liability insurance of £1M, but that's world wide coverage. So it is safe to assume that you'll be paying less than £2K on £2M of cover if it is not worldwide.

Reading your post you are not going to take out an insurance. I suggest to compare quotes online to get a rough estimate premium. If you want you can try us

Like every company, we do give you a call back after you made some quotes, so don't be mad :)
