Problems setting up new EDF account for Commercial Premises

Good evening everyone.

I'm having a bit of an issue setting up my electric supply, I've been trying for nearly 6 weeks now and I've had no success.

Background: I recently moved in to a commercial property; the supplier to the previous tenant is EDF. I've submitted a copy of the signed lease, meter readings move in date etc. It took weeks for them to get back to me but they won't accept the documents I provide as proof I'm a new tenant. The Landlord has even forwarded some documents as well, but we both keep getting the same copy and paste message reply requesting the exact same documents that's been submitted. I managed to get through to customer service and now EDF are insisting on seeing a copy of the original paper deeds of the property, they won't accept the electronic title register from HM Land Registry.

Is this typically what happens?
