Hi All,

I'm doing some research. My new business is essentially a virtual assistant service/administrative consultancy. The business provides a solution to employing full time admin staff, by offering admin services on an ad hoc basis, chargable at an hourly rate. The cost of employment is high and we are looking to provide cost-effective solutions to this problem.

I think the problem with my profile is because I'm currently using the free membership option? I get a permissions message when I try to edit it, and I'm unable to view the profiles of others.

In response to your other question, I suppose the way in which I have written the post may be incorrect/misleading. I have indeed established the business (legal entity, etc), and currently have one (fairly large) contract. However the research I'm conducting really relates to expanding the business to offer virtual services on a wider scale. I have the bare bones of the model. The purpose of the survey is to try to hit a cross section of business owners and explore their requirements, in order to highlight possible trends and potentially choose a niche on which to concentrate, as opposed to just broadly offering 'admin services'. I've used various networking mediums to ask people to complete this, and at this stage, I wanted to keep it relatively vague and short so as not to deter people from completing it. Thanks.

Most people on the Forum are free members and profiles work. Your profile says says 'unconfirmed account'. Sorry but I don't know what this means. You will need to ask, but that will be the reason for difficulties with profile.

You get that mesage as your profile is unconfirmed. You should have recieved an email from UKBF which has a link for you to confirm your account. You will then be able to edit your profile and view others.
