Hi all, quick one from me - I'm Andy, I work at ANNA Money on a product called Hire ANNA.

We're building an AI assistant that takes on routine business admin - things like invoicing, chasing late payments, bookkeeping - and I'd like to talk to a few actual small business owners about how you currently handle that stuff, what's annoying about it, and whether what we're building would actually be useful or if we're solving the wrong problem.

I know the instinct here is "why would I give a fintech 30 minutes of my time for free", and that's a fair question. It's because talking to people who actually run businesses is the only way to build something that isn't just guesswork dressed up as a product. There's no cost, no obligation, and I'm not trying to sign anyone up to anything on the call itself - it's a discovery conversation, not a demo with a pitch at the end.

As soon as the words AI are mentioned I switch off. I use AI for many things but it seems to be shoehorned into everything. There are plenty of non-AI tools you can use to help with financial management that have been working just fine for years.

Fair point, and I don't disagree - half of what gets called "AI" these days is just a rebrand of something that already worked fine. I'm not going to try and talk you out of that.

For what it's worth, the call isn't really about persuading anyone that AI is the answer - it's more about understanding what's actually working for people already, AI or not.

Hmmm fisicx - I've never encountered this before. It might be something to do with Calendly's own security. I suggest either trying again or we can arrange it the old-school way via email

Quick update on this one. To make it a fairer ask, given that time is money (Benjamin Franklin once said?), I can offer a £50 Amazon voucher as a thank you for anyone who does one of these calls with me. Still 30-40 minutes over video, still no obligation beyond that.

I can only really do this properly for about 5 people for now, so it'll likely fill up, but no bother if you miss it, I may open it up again later.

We are currently using sage copilot Ai and while its not perfect its going in the right direction and this stuff will be where it needs to be in near future
Its worth looking at ANNA if you don't already have a system
