Please give me feedback on my website

I have no technical knowledge, but I do sometimes buy gifts online.

I seldom price compare, I mostly seek inspired/personalised ideas to a (fairly) considered budget.

Your search functions and product range are currently pretty limited in that respect.

However, as it stands, the reason I absolutely wouldn't buy from your site is that I couldn't find the legal details of your organisation - which inspires absolutely no confidence.

From a marketing perspective I'm struggling to see how you will rank amongst the strong, established brands out there.

Hi Mark. Thank you for the feedback. I agree there is some work still to go in to the site. I thought the legal pages were in the privacy section but I will check. I am getting a expert to scrutinise these pages. There is work to do too on products too. Thank you though I appreciate your thoughts.

I appreciate it's WIP, but - for that very reason - you legal status and contact details need to be loud & clear.

Amazon have the benefit of knowing that they can handle returns & complaints - you have to earn that privilege, part of which is being open with your identity.

Yes I know it’s important we have the returns policies etc showing but company contact details is missing as you know I had a post regarding virtual addresses which triggered a lot of pro and negs.

Your contact details and phone number need to be in the footer on every page. Even if you do use a virtual address it helps build trust. Your returns policy says to email you first at your icloud address. That raises all sorts of concerns as it suggests a back bedroom operation.

And on your about us page you make this claim of ethical suppliers yet you still sell products that aren't. For example Ferrero Rocher in your gift packs (which still look a bit naff).

This is an example of a product with personalised text shouldn't be there: https://www.clickagift.uk/collections/gifts-for-home-garden/products/bee-flower-jug-vase

Yes all valid points you raised I’m trying to get a professional email address that links to the business too. The personalised issue I am looking at too which you quite rightly pointed out too.

Your registrar should be able to sort out the email address. You might have to pay extra but it’s a service most provide.
