Who doesnt like these? Surely a perfect catering trailer for festivals etc.

Maybe bbq glazed, honey and rosemary etc and a choice of dips? 6 for 2.50?

Thoughts?

When I worked on the building I used to treat the blokes to one of my specials every now and then - Sticky Sausages.

Sausages covered with lashings of marmalade done under the grill :)

With good quality sausages and bacon, many people will like them. However something made with cheap catering sausage and thin water laden bacon, then smothered in syrup wouldn't get my trade. Of course very few people lose money under-estimating the taste of the British public when it come to food.

And there are significant numbers of people who won't like them, vegetarians and certain religious followers being patently obvious candidates

Any choice for us coeliacs or are you going to marginalise us (a growing % of the market) like so many others or are you going to stand out???

If I can source good quality gluten free sausages which are also cost effective then the option is definately there. Long way to travel down from Leicester for some though?

Can you do that thing where you dust prunes in chilli powder and then wrap in bacon? That might cover Coeliacs a bit and it's to die for.

Sounds wonderful!!!

Country Shows and Village Fetes would be a great place to sell, much better than the usually burger van you get at these places selling £4.00 frozen burgers.

The stalls that sell best at these events in my opinion are the ones that offer something a bit different to what you can do at home. Bison burgers, Ostrich etc.

I think these would be great!!! Good luck

Sodding off?

Oi! Less vegetarian bashing please. We're not all sandal-wearing beard-stroking hippies, you know, or uptight bores. Most of us are pretty nice people - and rather more compassionate than most. Plus, vegetarian food can be rather delicious so don't knock if if you've not tried it.
