Hi guys,

Due to unforseen circumstances i need to print some tickets of for a gig asap. Ive done a basic text design in photoshop but not sure of the best way to print it. If i export the image as a PDF it will only print one ticket per page but i need to print a few on each page to save paper!

Any help would be great

Thanks

Craig

a : Import your image into a program which has ready made a4 templates for printing. ( M$ office , openOffice ).(.jpg will be fine)

b: Do the above in Photoshop by calculating the page size , duplicate the picture 'layers' to fill the page. ( taking onto account dpi etc.... )

Either way , assume that there will be a millimetre or two of miss-alignment so plan for this in the design and avoid thin exact borders etc.

Photo Shop is not designed for text work. It is a vector based photo manipulation program and as such is very likely to make the text pixelated. You really should be using a program such and In design or Quark express. Failing that get a copy of Publisher ( publisher will be no good to you if you ever want to take a job to a professional printer )

As for printing it a few up on the page, nothing could be simpler. Just use the Photoshop tools to dup it up before you save it to a PDF. Then you will have a file that will print out multiple copies for you.
