We are a packaging manufacturer currently based in the West Midlands, we are proposing to open a new site in the south west area, we specialise in smaller runs of bespoke cardboard boxes at competitive rates we also have a stock range of boxes alongside other general packaging items.

We believe our services and products would be welcome in the south west area as we feel we would offer a unique service to the local businesses.

We currently operate within a similar market in the west midlands this enables us to understand customer requirements!

We would welcome any feedback which would assist us in choosing our location within the south west to service all of our potential clients/customers. At the moment we are looking at the Newton Abbot area as we see it as a central location to service all of the south west area.

Are there any networking groups we could join in that area? We are currently a member of similar groups in the west midlands that we find very beneficial to our business expansion and development.

Please visit our website to get more of an idea of the products we would be offering (link removed by Mod)
All the stock products will be available on a 24 hour delivery service.

Any bespoke items are available with fast turn around.

Thankss !! :)

If you are looking for a manufacturing plant and are not dependant on footfall / retail trade then you would be well advised to consider north devon - possibly around the Barnstaple area.

Rents / rates are cheaper as the south of devon is more affluent generally (hence more expensive - particularly near Exeter) and you'll have no problems finding staff. There are also very good transport links to the M5.

PM if you need any other info, happy to help.

Newton Abbot is fine for your kind of business, there are several industrial estates in the area and surrounding areas with good links to plymouth, exeter and up the M5 to bristol too.

I'd be interested in your services when you set up down here, I live in Newton Abbot and work over in dorset running a mail order business so we need companies like yours!

be aware newton abbot traffic can be a nightmare especially around the penn inn area. My advice would be north devon, or cullompton area. You can get to north south east and west easily

Only heading to torquay and only in rush hour so not really an issue. They are also building the new bypass so this should all disappear!

Hi,

I agree that Newton Abbot does seem ideal - central and with good motorway links, but the traffic around the Penn Inn can sometimes be a little conjested but this may improve with the proposed bypass many have been campaigning for.

You might also want to speak to the Torbay Development Agency who may be able to offer some help and advice as would business link SOuth West.

Exeter is busy and has plenty of empty units around the Business Park and Marsh Barton Industrial Estate that are waiting to be snapped up so you might want to consider these locations as well.

We have just recently purchased some boxes similar to the R-Kive and so had I seen your post earlier, we would have asked for a quote. Feel free to send your details to us for future reference. We have also just announced a merger with Rabjohns in the Midlands to extend our reach up the M5 (if you are aware of them)?

Kind regards,
