organic keyword tools

I see tools like this http://www.keywordspy.com/ where you can check competitors keywords and see their ranking, are they any good? does anyone use anything similar or better?

Any good for what?

Go to google, type in the keyword and click search. Don't need a tool to show me ranking.

However.... how do you know they are tageting these keywords, if the landing page converts, that it's suitable for your business?

Yes I understand, It has to be a combination of many things that work.

If the landing page was say the home page or any other, the said site could have the keyword you searched but it also may have good backlinks and good content.......

Hard to see the ranking and why its ranking really. backlink tools also never seem to show all the results as well.

their are lots of tools which work like this. they help you little bit but not that much of effective.
