Has anyone offered to pay for the flu jab for staff members?

I'm diabetic and I have the flu jab every year, I find that it really helps to fight off bugs. Now that Tesco are offering the jab for £15 a shot I was looking to see if anyone has offered to pay for it for staff members in an effort to reduce sickness during the winter months?

My client does offer the flu jab for free, but they arrange for an onsite visit by relevant medical professionals to do them.

The concern would be insurance (they are an insurer so probably covered) if your deemed to have promoted something and they then have a complication because of it.

My personal opinion - leave well alone, Unless you are part of the NHS etc

I can imagine the scenario now - my boss gave me the flu jab, and now I've got xyz I'm now going to have 1 year off sick and hit you with a claim from "sueyourboss.com":eek:

If the flu jab is through their local doctor and you are not requiring it etc. but simply offering to pay for it then I can't see how you can be liable - if they choose it, it is their choice, if there is liability is lies in their chosing it / the doctor's surgery...
