Hi
Is a not a good fit a good enough reason for termination.
Background,
We took on a member of staff in november who just hasn't got on with any members of staff. His work ethic isn't there which is causing issues with other members of staff that have to do extra to cover the short fall.
He has a holier than thou attitude and delusions of grandeur.
Its come to a head this weekend when he's called out our General Manger and we've had a couple of members of staff ask that they not be put on the same shifts as him due to his condescending tone.
I'm just doing his termination letter and I'm struggling with the wording. "Youve been terminated by reason of not being a good fit for the business or team"
I'm aware we dont really have to give a reason but what other way could we word this or is that enough without giving us enough rope to hang ourselves
Edit:
Obviously we'll be paying any notice and accrued annual leave etc
