Does anyone run / attend networking events for small Companies in the North Hertforshire area?

We are based in the Welwyn area and looking for events being held somewhere between Welwyn and Letchworth.

If there are any like minded individuals, I'm sure we could look to set up our own event if the demand is there...

hi try viva-networking - not sure if they have one close to you but it's a very good group with meetings in Bedfordshire & Hertfordshire.

    Or maybe Business Beacon.

Sorry I can't post any links yet, but should be easily found on Google.

There are loads...BNI and Chamber of Commerce are just two that springs to mind. Can't remember the other one I attended years ago.

We are based in St Albans, Herts. :)

I live in Hertfordshire and have attended networking events with Wenta and Business Buzz.

Wenta has been mostly new businesses every time but you don't get a huge opportunity to talk to people. It's mostly sit around a table, introduce yourself and your business and then the business advisor might give a talk on a subject to do with starting up a business. It's not till the end that you get to talk to each other. The Networking Events with Wenta are free though

Business Buzz was excellent, it's £5 to get in and there's quite a lot of people there. It's all about socialising and is a mixture of both new businesses and businesses that have been running for a while. The person that runs it will usually introduce newcomers to people that go all the time. I recommend this one if there's one near you.

Google Business Biscotti I have attended these in our local area. Quite informal £3 including coffee & biscuits, held at a sensible time, great venues and no pressure. I'm not sure how they manage to get the venues for such a small price but well worth a look;)
