hello everybody, I have just joined ukbf today and I am about to venture into this niche market locally, can any one advise on the subject please.i already have a nearly new Mercedes Benz which is paid for cash and I have funds for marketing website etc

Speak to someone about how you are going to advertise and get new business

Are you going to be a sole trader or Ltd

Business bank account?

VAT Registration

not forgetting the right insurance, speak to a broker.

why fork out the cash price for a merc when you could lease one and save yourself a fortune? leaving you with more working capital, especially at the beginning

Look into if you need to be licensed by your local authority as well.

Mailshot all the main employers within a 20 mile radius in your area as well as cruise operators, airlines, TV companies etc etc
Stand around the flight arrivals dept at your local airports and see if you can improve on or replicate the guys there.
Get a good alarm clock.
