Networking Event in Plymouth

Plymouth Twestival Local 2011 will be kicking of a day of fundraising activities for a local charity with an event for our local business community. Our target for the day is to raise £10,000 – and we are sure that local businesses will want to help get us off to a fantastic start. Thanks to the generosity of The Treasury Bar in providing a great venue and a scrumptious breakfast, all of the ticket money for this special Speed Networking Breakfast will be donated to the charity.
This will be speed networking on a grand scale! We have space for 60 local businesses to join us – think of the opportunities this brings you to leave with a stack of business contacts, appointments and a warm feeling that you have helped a local charity. This is your opportunity to network face to face with a wide range of local business people and to find out about the variety of local business networking opportunities that exist locally.
Where: The Treasury Bar, Plymouth City Centre
When: Thursday 24th March – doors open at 7.30am
Cost: £20 (for an extra £5 you can bring a pop up banner) - price includes breakfast, drinks and is tax deductible
Tickets: Available from plymouth.twestival dot com – with all proceeds going to The Chestnut Appeal, Plymouths local charity for Prostate Cancer, the most common cancer in males.

I would go, but there is a conflict, as Network Plymouth have a big event on the same morning! Already booked for that, as have lots of others, so you may wish to re-consider the date.

Sorry to hear you can't make it Mr Mark - The networking session has been organised as part of the Twestival, which is a global charity event, and takes place on the 24th.....so unfortunately it can't be changed.
We have had a great deal of interest in this, especially as there is an auction at the event, with some fabulous business based prizes such as web advertising, corporate room hire, training courses, and office equipment.
Additionally it is a rather unique speed networking event in that you get to engage with every other attendee, and not just those opposite you in a ring.
