Need help to restore traffic to my site

Could the practice of republishing articles from my WordPress site on Medium potentially lead to a notable decline in traffic, evidenced by a more than 40% decrease in site visits?
Despite maintaining favorable scores on performance metrics such as Pingdom and PageSpeed, I don't know what exactly dropped my website traffic.
Any insights or suggestions on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I think that would be unlikely to be the cause as long as your websites content was indexed first so google knows where the original came from. I would suspect some other cause, could simply be a change of google algorithm. March 5 this year had a core update "Update addresses low-quality content and introduces new policies on spam to combat manipulative practices." and plenty of changes end of last year.

You need to analyse your analytics. Break down entrance pages before and after the drop in traffic. Look at sources. Investigate bounce.

Maybe it’s the articles on your site that are the problem.

What you need is a website review. I can see a whole load of issues with the site - the sort of things Google doesn’t like.

It’s all about content spam. Low value posts and articles, often click bait.

Google is looking for websites that add value.

If we look at this thread they want to post on Medium. Which means almost instant indexing. It won't help restore traffic. The problem the OP has is a low level clickbaity type website. The sort of thing Google is ignoring more and more because it doesn't add a value.

But if you have a site is informative, interesting, ticks all of Google's boxes and has regular updates then indexing does happen fairly quickly. Certainly not a week as @NickZ suggested.

If it does take a week or more then you need to rethink your website if Google ranking is part of your marketing plan.

None of the pages I've run through PSI are passing Core Web Vitals by a long shot. I'd suggest you become a paid member of this forum and get a website review.
