Microsoft Pulling/Reducing O365 Support For Charities/Non Profits

Out of the blue, MS has emailed charities that received free O365 saying they are pulling the support in July.

The standard offer, which was O365 Business Standard, will be available at a 75% discount

However, it does sort of indicate that they will still offer O365 basic - does anyone have clarity on this?

The original offer was a 'donation' of 10 x Microsoft 365 Business Premium, and 'unlimited' (which in practice would actually be 300) x Microsoft 365 Business Basic.

If you needed more than 10 x Business Premium, you could purchase additional for a 75% discount.

The replacement offer does away with the 10 x Business Premium.

You can still purchase Business Premium for 75% discount, and get Business Basic for free.

For a non profit using 10 Business Premium, you're looking at an annual spend of approx £500 +VAT.

The changes took effect on 1st July, or from your annual renewal if that is later.

As an example, I have a customer whose annual donation subscription ends next January, so they are unaffected until then.
