Hi everyone,
I am looking for some advice on a marketing qualification which could help my employability. I am 25, I have a Bsc in Marketing & Advertising and a Msc Business Aministration, with a strong academic record from good universities. However I am struggling to get my foot in the door with Marketing jobs, and I believe the main reason for this is my lack of commitment to Marketing in the past couple years.
I finished my Master's at the end of 2013 and have since worked as a Graduate Management Trainee in 2014 and as a Project Analyst in 2015/16 in an engineering company, having distance myself significantly from Marketing roles. I now intend to apply for and develop myself in a Marketing role (primarily applying for graduate positions) and I feel a fresh qualification might renew my commitment to the industry in the eyes of recruiters.
I am particularly interested in an online marketing oriented qualification, since marketing fundamentals knowledge is still quite solid. I came across the CIM qualifications but found the prices too steep for my means (around £2,000 for a 3 day course). I would greatly appreciate any advice!
Many Thanks
