Fresh from the relative success of my post on potentially putting packages on the 10 Yeti site I have another idea I wanted to run past the might UKB forum dwellers.

Thinking about putting a fortnightly Marketing & PR tips, downloadable pdf or something on the site. Do you think people would be interested?

Obviously I could post it somewhere on this site too, if the admins don't mind?

    Discuss... ah go on!

Yep do it - it's a huge booster for traffic (and therefore prospects). What you could do is write a new article every week/fortnight/month etc and request a valid email address for access to the archive of older stuff - a great way to build up a mailing list :)

    Andy

The uk is full of small company's who do not understand sales & marketing let alone PR so all good information is very usefull and hence adding this information to your site, on here etc can only be good.

We are looking at doing the same but more sales based and will have it up in the next few weeks.

    Hey Andy,

Free reports are a great way of marketing IF you ask people to stay registered with you on an opt-in mailing list. (Our exclusive members list...etc or something like that)

You then have the opportunity to re-sell your services to them on a monthly basis.

The free version of our email marketing software should do the trick see www.ecust.co.uk

    Hope this helps,

    Rob
