Made mistake with trademarking logo (UK - IPO)

I am the owner of a podcast and I decided to go ahead and trademark my logo to protect the brand. Trouble is, I made a mistake with the wording because I uploaded my logo with the tm symbol and it recognises my trademark text with the tm symbol in the name.

This is a relatively small error, will the IPO let me correct this, or is it likely I will need to apply for another application?

My application is at the examination stage so probably some time before its accepted. Is it likely the IPO would flag the use of the TM symbol in my logo so early on?

I applied for a job at the IPO many years ago. They are the most detail focused people I’ve ever met.

The IPO will probably not flag the issue. If the application is at the examination stage it will likely be accepted very quickly. You can apply to correct an error in the image and there is a chance that the IPO will allow you to file a replacement image. However, the general rule is that no changes are allowed following filing. That being said, the addition of the letters TM is a clear and obvious error. As fisicx says, maybe give them a call to ask what you can do.
