Hi

I've currently got an online store which I run as a sideline.

The traffic to the website is steadily increasing. I use Paypal to process payments at the moment but I've been meaning to switch for a while now.

Studying my analytics data I have discovered that 68% of people abandon the sales funnel when they realise payment is via Paypal.

I'm after suggestions of another payment processor to use. My friend used Nochex but I've heard some horror stories about them. I'd consider Sagepay or Worldpay but I currently haven't got a business account setup.

Any advice gratefully received :)

My advice would be to get a merchant number and use a payment processor like sagepay BUT also keep paypal as another payment option as well so those that want use it can and those that don't can pay via regular credit/debit card.

Hi

INZU.net may be the solution your looking for, set up costs are very low and customers can pay by credit card or Paypal.

Using our API you will also be able to update your shop very easily and manage other parts of your site using the built in CMS.

If your traffic/turnover is steadily increasing then eventually you may wish to consider a payment processor with a merchant account. As you mentioned, you don't yet have a business account so this is something you would need to look at setting up before applying.

We have managed to get merchants a business account and merchant account at the same time with the likes of HSBC - when a merchant has applied to use our Payment Gateway for processing Credit and Debit cards via their website.

We work with all the major UK acquirers and can help you obtain a merchant account to work with our Payment gateway. You can also keep your PayPal account, but run it through us in order to maximise your sales.

Have a look at securetrading. com or give us a call on 0800 028 9151
