Hi

I've currently got an online store which I run as a sideline.

The traffic to the website is steadily increasing. I use Paypal to process payments at the moment but I've been meaning to switch for a while now.

Studying my analytics data I have discovered that 68% of people abandon the sales funnel when they realise payment is via Paypal.

I'm after suggestions of another payment processor to use. My friend used Nochex but I've heard some horror stories about them. I'd consider Sagepay or Worldpay but I currently haven't got a business account setup.

Any advice gratefully received :)

Hi

INZU.net may be the solution your looking for, set up costs are very low and customers can pay by credit card or Paypal.

Using our API you will also be able to update your shop very easily and manage other parts of your site using the built in CMS.

If your traffic/turnover is steadily increasing then eventually you may wish to consider a payment processor with a merchant account. As you mentioned, you don't yet have a business account so this is something you would need to look at setting up before applying.

We have managed to get merchants a business account and merchant account at the same time with the likes of HSBC - when a merchant has applied to use our Payment Gateway for processing Credit and Debit cards via their website.
