Looking for ideas with export wood scrap

We produce pallets in Belarus. Have a lot of wood scrap at our work. Mostly edged boards 17*100*600mm. The main problem it's not dryed (KD about 20%) and unable to make any furniture from this, because glue will not work.
Can't find good ideas what to do with all of this.

One time start produce kindling, but our wholesale buyer from Germany is dissapear and we already 3 month can't find new one.
Our local retailers not interesting in such goods.

I made such home for our cat. But it's take too much time for produce 1pc. So I think it will difficult to earn a lot of money with this.

May be anybody have an idea. What else we can make from our wood scrap for sell to any wholesale buyer?
I think nobody will interesting to buy this ))

In 1997 - 1999 I was general manager of a large pallet producing wood factory in Opochka, Russia.

We had endless problems with the huge amount of bark offcuts and scrap from the huge 5 metre logs.
In fact there was as much wood scrap as there was good finished pallet wood,
only the problem was that the scrap was still in 5 metre long lengths.

The scrap was clogging up every part of the factory, the truck yard, piled up against the sawdust extractors, we were using the JCB to dump it in the fields outside the factory fence perimeter, nowhere left to put it all because no one locally wanted it, was too big for them to take it away.

Even the central town domestic heating and hot water plant didn't want it, they had enough wood from other saw mills.

Too expensive to send it to Europe, and so could not find anyone in Europe with any interest in taking it.

The solution I found was to install a spare 8" blade band saw in an outbuilding and employ two workers exclusively full time to cut the scrap into 400 mm lengths and stack them into bundles onto scrap pallets.

I arranged for an advert in the local newspaper for free firewood - delivered free.

Everyone has a wood burner and cooker in their homes in that town, and tons of wood stacked outside for the winter months, but usually no real facilities to collect and cut large lengths of wood to fit their stoves.

I employed a local with a tractor and trailer to deliver to all who came to the factory and requested the scrap fire wood.

Within a few weeks the whole factory was cleared !

Yes we are buying pellet mill now.
But it's good boards, don't want to throw it out. "free firewood - delivered free" - is not for me.
I find much better decision. Will try to make one kind of furniture. Price should be much lower than in China.
If everything will ok, share some photo.

For toys it's too thin.
I think finished good should be covered with something. I'll try to make ottoman from this.
I already draw and made a frame

But can't find material with competitive price for cover it. Want to make price from European factory like in China.
What is better to choose: imitation leather or fabric?

The wood will need to be kiln dried first.
You will have to get the moisture content down to 8 - 10%

I have the way to solve this problem. It will be very strong and long time use.

You will have to design the Ottoman as a flat-pack self assembly item, for
the customer to put together himself.
It will be too expensive to send anywhere when it is fully built together.

You are right for sure. Will try to calculate how much I be able to put in truck. But it's unreal to make it self assembly. Design and technology will don't allow to make this.

The price in China 7-10$, shipping cost to European port about 4000$ and 35days. Shipping from our factory to any point of Europe maximum 1200Eur and 5days. The main problem is to find cover skin with competitive price.

He sell it like firestarter (Kindling) I was tried to find buyer, but fail. I'll glad if you help us. We can promise % from sell of this good for help.
