Leaflet Distribution In South-East

Can anyone recommend a reliable door-to-door leaflet distributor in the South-East (Surrey)?

Also, does anyone have any advice in regards to the value of distributing leaflets via a newspaper (e.g. Guardian) vs on their own (albeit without a doubt together with other company leaflets)?

I'm not sure if they definitely cover the Surrey area but M A Distribution are local to me (East Sussex).

I've used them before, they are reliable and quite cheap. £40 per thousand leaflets IIRC

I don't know much about getting them delivered but I do know when I open a newspaper or magazine the leaflets fall out in a bunch they go straight into the bin without a glance. However any specific leaflet delivery through my post box does get my attention for a few seconds (usually from picking up to putting in bin) but I do always read them. Same with the ones the post man brings....

I run a leaflet distribution company but it's in the North East of England so I'm not touting for your business.

Solus, your leaflet distributed alone by a reputable distributor is far and away the most cost effective form of advertising there is Forget the press, radio, TV, billboards etc. Your leaflet will be picked up by a person that you have targeted, be it through demographic analysis or whatever. It will be at worst glanced at.

In that split second a well designed, good quality leaflet will grab the attention of the recipient. A powerful call to action and your product or service is now firmly embedded in the mind of your target.

Now you have given them a decision to make. Does this go in the bin or not?

Shared Distribution dilutes this thought process but is cheaper. However it is blanket cover of an area. Rendering it pointless for niche services ie landscape gardener in a block of flats

Newspaper inserts are hidden when they arrive and are quite often shook out into the bin without even a cursory glance.

I'm predominantly in Surrey and Hampshire and have looked at this in some detail. Royal Mail are £54.56 per 1000 with a minimum order value of £500 plus VAT so you have 500/54.56*1000=9164 flyers http://www.royalmail.com/marketing-services/campaign-delivery/door-door/prices

You can try to target demographically on part or near full postcodes but Royal Mail can deliver to Postcode sectors as they state
