Kids are about to break up from school which usually sees a drop off in customers shopping as they're out with the kids, or on holiday. This year of course we are also competing with the Olympics and God (who is inflicting non stop rain upon us). So ....
.... I've just stuck 30 days worth of craft activities on my FB page in a bid to get feet through the door and will hopefully be nice and busy! You can take a peek if you'd like to see what I have to look forward to!!!!

:D
Wish me luck!

Good luck Doodles....

may the fed up parents beat a stampede to your door.

I am certain if you get enough local exposure parents will be desperate to entertain their rugrats....

Kudos

;)

Wonderful stuff!
How many people see your FB page?

And do you do any other advertising?

We've got about 480 likers on our page, most of which are actually local people who are definitely our target marker. I have shared the post with the local mums FB pages, we're doing some flyers which will go in the reading bags of the local primary school (thanks to a teaching assistant friend!), it will be on Twitter as I've linked the twitting thing to my FB page (although I really don't get Twitter at all), posters going up in the local library, supermarket and 4 churches. Other than that, it's crossed fingers!!!!

I hope your biggest problem will be you have too many kids turning up !
You might have to hire the local hall !
All great stuff.

My 5 year plan is to franchise - just under 2 years to go!
Sounds good! But how does that help me out during the next 6 weeks? :D:D:D

Summer holidays are the main problem I have with working from home

Oh dear - I know the feeling! I worked from home for a few years when my kids were young, it is difficult to be professional and focussed when you need to keep stopping every 5 minutes to resolve feuds over football custody, deal with hunger pangs and toiletting needs. Good luck!!!

.... just thought I would let you know that I survived the Kids' Crafternoons (just) and am totally relieved that it's all over until October.
Took a pretty reasonable amount during the month, certainly helps more than just a little bit towards the overheads anyhow!
