Invites Business

Hello All

I have a very good friend of mine who has a print business in India. Recently i was looking for wedding invites for myself as i needed some redone in an emergency.

I am thinking that where i am based alongside my current customer base, this would be idea to set up something like this myself.

The only issue is i can get prints done in india for those willing to wait but i wanted to also set up a printing service here for all sorts of invites/ cards etc providing a quick and efficient service.

My question was, what do i need to set up this business? I am assuming i would need a professional printing machine, computers, photoshop etc.

Basically is there anyone who is already a printer and can give me some insight into the costs of running this business and things i should look out for?

It's a tricky business really, you need someone who does trade print!

It's more than tricky!!!

We print and finish lots of invites, (weddings are big business in Cyprus).

Not only will you need a good trade printer, but also someone that has the relevant

finishing machinery, die cutting, foiling etc.
