Hi,
I'm about to go on holiday and was wondering if anyone can recommend an internet dongle that would work in Italy (Calabria - Southern Italy).
Ideally I am looking at one that is cost effective, pay as you go as we will be away for 12 days...not too long but will have to keep abreast of business emails etc.

Any suggestions would be welcomed

Ross

Not sure if one is actually available as technically you will be roaming and probably paying allot more. Your best bet is to contact your mobile phone company and see if they have a solution :)

I just visit the local Internet Cafe's two or three times a week, to keep up to date.

It's much cheaper!

You may also be better off buying at the location, I know this can be cheaper with regular pay as you go mobile because you are not roaming.

At £5/Mb you could buy a thousand carrier pidgeons instead!

I did take mine on holiday for emergency use though - along with an iPhone, 2 laptops, router, VOIP phone....

You're a guy who knows how to relax - I can tell :)
Oh I was a riot ;)

I've decided the future is definitely having a UK business and living out west in the Caribbean - the latency's not too bad and by the time you wake up half the UK business day is over! Only works if you have staff who don't mind doing all the legwork in the morning though...(which of course we did to any clients reading! I do take holidays, but you couldn't tell :))
