International Phone Numbers

Hey Guys

We do a lot of business based from the UK in countries like Germany / Sweden / Netherlands etc.

From a sales perspective we are looking at moving away from displaying a UK or withheld telephone number which shows up at the moment (so more people actually answer ) - we have a VOIP solution in place at the moment.

Does anyone have any knowledge or advice about the best way for us to approach getting a phone system that gives the impression of calling from a local foreign +49 or +46 number etc
Or recommend any companies that are good for this.

Skype seems limiting with certain numbers and has no option for Germany for example...

There are difficulties with other country's numbers as there are differing regulations in each. Some require the business have premises there, some absolutely forbid them to foreigners for example

There are companies that can provide numbers in most countries but there are problems - often they can disapear overnight as regulators catch up or the CLI doesn't work because they use 'grey' routes and other call quality issue.

We have a number of countries which we can trust for permanence and quality, but it's a limited list. Info here

Skype in offers that but I am not sure if the quality is good enough for business.
