i sat down over an hour ago to watch a film and relax as it is Saturday evening but to my dismay i picked up my laptop, thinking to myself "i will just see if there are new posts on the forum"

now here we are over an hour later, film has finished and i have not got the faintest idea what it was about or who was in it!!!

THE FORUM IS TAKING OVER MY LIFE!!!

Yup! These forums are great! My cred would skydive if anyone at school caught me saying that ! And half the time I don't even understand what you lot are on about - All this business talk! I've never even been into 'Legal' or the 'Accounting and Finance' sections! Terrified lol!

Neither have I, Liam. But because, based on my knowledge of accountants and lawyers, I'd actually be charged for reading something in there or breathing whilst in their virtual presence.

Just ask Liam if you don't get anything, someone will explain it all.

I don't get it all and i've been in business for 12 yrs :D

I am exactly the same. I have not watched a movie from start to finish for ages. I am always looking on here to see what's happening. My computer was originally in the bedroom but because I spent so long on there and my girlfriend didn't like it as she said she never saw me, I moved the computer in the living room so I could still come on UKBF and be with her the same time.
She said it's not perfect but it's better

Women huh :x

So we can expect the UKBF to be named in some divorce cases then?

Any solicitors in the house?

i think i have done all the divorcing i am going to do.... would make a change for a forum to be blamed for my separations instead of me getting all the blame on my own!!!

"i didnt do it....UKBF did it" - "i did not want to do it...UKBF made me"

do you think they work? mmm....NO dont think so

Huh??

Why do you do that??

Does this mean I'm missing something? The posts update all the time anyway.... don't they?

Why? New posts show up straight away on my putah..... honestly!! I don't do anything. They appear - like magic!

Hayles if you let's say click on Time Out then you will see all the posts that people have made. If you then left that page on screen and went away from the computer for an hour it would still show that information when you come back so you must click the refresh button to see the changes which is what the others are on about. But in your case you probably click on Time Out see all the posts then click off that page and so when you come back in an hour you then click on Time Out again and so you will see the updated posts.

Have I confused you more. It's kinda long winded to explain

That would make sense Chris, thank you!

Just a bit worried about you though.... you 're suggesting leaving it an HOUR to click back into a thread to check whats happening? (You a bit slow dear...?!) You should check at least every ten minutes - it's actually the law.
