How to register a subsidiary?

I have three businesses and a sole trader business. I would like one of them to be a parent company and then the other two as subsidiaries. How do I do this?

To clarify. You have 3 limited companies and 1 sole trader business? Why do you have 4 separate businesses? Why do you want 2 to be subsidiaries?
