is there a home phone on the market that u can put a pay as you go or contract sim in.so that u can program it to divert the incoming land line calls to a mobile phone. thus cutting out the expensive diverts you have to pay to the likes of bt and viop. if not could some one make one.

It's in the back of my mind that there was/is a phone that would switch between being a landline and a mobile. Not much help I know but it may trigger somebody else's memory.

There are mobile phones that are also DECT phones so that when you are within range of your home base station, calls from your mobile are sent over the landline rather than mobile network. This is for outbound calls.

But as far as I'm aware nothing works like that for inbound calls and never will. If you want an inbound call that has been dialled to a landline number to be sent instead to a mobile you will always have to pay for a divert because someone must pay the additional cost of delivering the call into the mobile network.
