Holiday Insurance Claim

Putting this here in Time Out as not a direct business question.....

Do to a medical emergency back home, we had to cut short our recent holiday to Spain and understand that we can claim against our insurance for return flights and possibly some of the lost days.

I'm trying to find out if this claim will affect other policies, car, home etc., but can find no solid guidance with the term 'generally speaking, no' being used, so not very definitive.

With this in mind I'm calling on you good folk who may have experience of such...........?

This will not affect your home, car insurance etc.

It will only be relevant in respect of future travel insurance, where you will need to disclose previous claims.
